Coimbatore: The District Police arrested three persons in Sulur for hoarding the banned drugs and 1.100 kg of ganja is confiscated from them.
The Police stated that raids were conducted all over the city under the Drive Against Drug Initiative upon the orders of District SP.During one such raid, three people from the Sulur Police station limits were arrested for hoarding ganja. The accused are identified as B. Udayasatish Kumar (21), A. Sartopathinathan, (55), and M. Jeevanandam, (28). Around 1.100 kg of ganja is seized from them and they are under judicial custody.
The district police stated that the public shall inform about such illegal dealings to the police through Coimbatore District Police Control Room number, 9498181212 and WhatsApp Number 7708100100. Informants' details shall be kept anonymous.
