Tirupur: As Diwali approaches, workers in various companies in the Tirupur district, including knitting, looms, bakery and utensil manufacturing, should be given extra bonuses at current prices compared to last year, demanded the AITUC unions.
Health workers should be appointed according to the population in the areas under Tirupur Corporation. The AITUC unions staged a protest in front of the corporation office, pressing various demand, including the provision of better wages.
