District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Coimbatore has announced that pending cases will be heard and necessary solution through the video conference will be provided.
Coimbatore: As per the Consumer Protection Act 2019, section 70(3), State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Chennai has announced that the pending cases shall be settled through the Lok Adalat through video conferencing.
As per the orders of the Registrar of Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Chennai, the long-over-due cases up to the year 2015 are to be expeditiously disposed of by the Lok Adalat will be held on two days in November, on 25.11.2021 and 30.11.2021.
Considering the vacancies in the post of President / Members in the District Commissions, the following sitting arrangements are made in the District Commissions in the State of Tamil Nadu as a special drive, to dispose of the oldest pending complaints
The cases will be heard and settled through video conferencing. The willing complainants, respondents and the lawyers of both the parties shall submit their application to the Commission by 19.11.2021. The action taken in each District Commissions will be reviewed during the month of December-2021 and February-2022.
