District-wise appointment of ministers to expedite development work of the Government; Minister of Electricity Senthil Balaji appointed to Coimbatore

The Government of Tamil Nadu has appointed district-wise ministers throughout Tamil Nadu to ensure that the special welfare schemes and development projects of the State Government are implemented.


Coimbatore: Following the AIADMK's victory in all the 10 constituencies in the Coimbatore district in the recent assembly elections, the Coimbatore district has been without a minister to reach out to the people of Coimbatore and work in the field during the last corona virus.

Following this, ministers from different departments visited Coimbatore to work. The Government of Tamil Nadu has appointed district-wise ministers throughout Tamil Nadu to fully reach out to the special welfare schemes and development projects that are brought by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

The Tamil Nadu government has issued an order to Minister of Electricity Senthil Balaji, who is successfully implementing party functions in the DMK, to expedite the development work in Coimbatore. According to a statement issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu it ordered to expedite the development work in the district, to monitor the welfare assistance to the general public and to carry out emergency work in addition to other natural disasters such as epidemics.

CM Stalin appointed and ordered some of the ministers to be responsible leaders for certain districts. Accordingly the ministers are appointed district-wise as the ministers in charge. Senthil Balaji, Minister of Electricity, Prohibition and Excise has been appointed for the Coimbatore district.
