Tirupur: The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate N. Subramaniam assumed office today in the presence of Adi Dravidar WelfareMinister, Kayalvizhi Selvaraj.
The DMK candidate who was elected as the 12th ward union committee member of Dhrapuram, Tirupur district, N. Subramaniam’s swearing-in ceremony was held at the Panchayat Sabha hall in Dharapuram Panchayat Union Office on Wednesday. The ceremony took place in the presence of Adi Dravidar Welfare Minister, Kayalvizhi Selvaraj.
The election officer and Dharapuram Panchayat Union Regional Development officer, Balasubramanian was present during the swearing-in ceremony. DMK North District Secretary I.L. Padmanabhan, Union Committee President S.V. Senthil Kumar, Dharapuram City Secretary K S Dhanasekar and Advocate Thennarasu, president of Tirupur South Congress Party, and Kalimuthu, a former Congress MLA, Dharapuram,ward members, DMK functionaries, and government officials were present during the event.
