The District Police under the DAD-Drive Against Drug Initiative nabbed and arrested two persons who sold ganja illegally.
Coimbatore: Two people are arrested in Coimbatore for selling Ganja. 1.100 kg of the banned substance, cash, and a two-wheeler is confiscated from the accused.
T.Muniyappan, (41), Ranjit Biswas, (32) are from the Thondamuthur Police Station limits in Coimbatore and are arrested for hoarding and selling Ganja. They possessed 1.100 kg of Ganja. The police also seized an amount of Rs.6,000 and a two-wheeler from them. The duo is lodged in judicial custody.
The District Police has been conducting continuous patrols and raids in and around the city to nab those involved in illegal activities. The initiative DAD-Drive Against Drugs has been implemented in full force. The district police stated that the public shall tip off the police department through Coimbatore District Police Control Room No. 9498181212 and WhatsApp Number 7708100100.
