A 70-year-old man who was recovered from debris of home that collapsed due to rain is admitted to the Government Hospital for treatment.
Coimbatore: A 70-year-old man is admitted to the Government hospital in Coimbatore in a serious condition. The old man was stuck in the debris of his house that collapsed due to rain in Pollachi.
Various places in the state have been receiving heavy rains due to atmospheric overlay circulation including the Pollachi area. A house in the New Colony, Diwansapudur area of Pollachi belonging to Subramanian, (70), collapsed due to the heavy rain.

Subramanian’s wife saved their two children in the nick of the time as she sensed the building falling down. Subramanian who was stuck under the debris, was rescued by the neighbours in a life-threatening condition and was admitted at the Pollachi Government Hospital (GH) where he received first aid. He was then shifted to the Coimbatore Government Hospital for further treatment.

The cupboard and cot are damaged in the incident. Police is investigation is on.
