Former Deputy Speaker and Tirupur District Secretary Pollachi V. Jayaraman said that the DMK had to its record an anti-democratic victory by distributing money to people in the 9 district local government elections that recently took place.
Tirupur: AIADMK's Golden Jubilee year is being celebrated all over Tamil Nadu.
As part of the celebrations, Pollachi V. Jayaraman, the Pollachi Assembly member on behalf of the Tirupur Municipal District AIADMK paid homage to the late Chief Ministers revolutionary leader Bharat Ratna Dr. MGR and revolutionary Leader Dr. J. Jayalalithaa by garlanding their portraits.
Speaking to reporters, Pollachi V. Jayaraman, said, "AIADMK was not created by experts and scholars, but a movement that brings together millions of volunteers to create a revolutionary leader. Many of the newly formed parties disappear after one or two defeats in elections. AIADMK is the only party that will finally win the hearts and minds of the people, no matter how many defeats the party faces."
He added, "AIADMK will win all the elections in the coming times with the confidence of the people of Tamil Nadu. In the last 9 district panchayat elections, the DMK has to its credit an anti-democratic victory by paying the public, anywhere between 2,000 and 3,000 rupees. AIADMK will win in all the corporations including in Tirupur, Coimbatore, Trichy and Madurai if the forthcoming corporation and municipal elections are held in a single phase. It is the intention of the AIADMK that God's property should be protected and used by the people. Thousands of volunteers visit the memorial of the revolutionary leader and revolutionary leader daily."
Sasikala was also present at the AIADMK Golden Jubilee Anniversary event where former Deputy Speaker, Pollachi Assembly Member and Tirupur District Organization Secretary Pollachi.V. Jayaraman were present.
The Pollachi MLA handed over 10 tables and 100 chairs free of cost that can be used by the people during special events, and ceremonies held at KVR Nagar. The event was attended by several AIADMK executives, including Tirupur North legislator Vijayakumar and former Tirupur South MLA Gunasekaran.
