District Superintendent of Police Selva Nagarathinam inaugurated the outpost at Malumichampatti in the Chettipalayam police station area. The purpose of the outpost police station is to solve the law and order problems of the four junctions of Pollachi, Chettipalayam, Madukkarai and Palladam, to prevent crime, to control traffic congestion and to reduce road accidents.
Coimbatore: An outpost police station was declared open today. The respective police station is operational to monitor, register and solve cases of crime.

Additional Superintendent of Police Ravichandran, Karumathampatti Deputy Superintendent of Police Anand Arokiya Raj, Sulur Police Inspector Madhayan, Chettipalayam Sub Inspector Miadit Mano, unit guards and members of the public were present at the inaugural ceremony. The District Superintendent of Police thanked all the public who helped set up the outpost police station.
