Water floods roads in Tirupur as it rain for more than an hour on Saturday

The public and motorists in Tirupur suffered as the city witnessed heavy down pour due to atmospheric circulation.


Tirupur: The traffic in Tirupur city was mildly disturbed as the city witnessed heavy rainfall for more than an hour on Saturday.

The sky was cloudy since morning in Tirupur due to atmospheric overlay circulation. This resulted in heavy rain that lasted for over an hour in the entire city. Roads were flooded with rainwater, which disturbed traffic. The public was also facing difficulties as the rain continued to pour. The weather was also slightly cold in the city.



Avinashi Road, Palladam Road, Sevanthampalayam, Rakkipalayam, four roads in Velliankadu witnessed thunderstorms. Heavy rains caused inconvenience to the public and motorists as rainwater remained stagnated in areas including Kongu Main Road, Oothukuli Road First Railway Gate, and Second Railway Gate Bridges, and Anaipalayam.
