MLA Vanathi Srinivasan, petitions Corporation Commissioner listing the problems in the Coimbatore South constituency, she urges the Corporation Commissioner him to resolve them.
Coimbatore: In a letter to Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Raja Gopal Sunkara, MLA from Coimbatore South Assembly constituency, Vanathi Srinivasan brought to his notice the street lights in the various wards that either need to be fixed or replaced.
The letter stated that the street lights in ward 52, Gandhipuram Crosscut Road should be repaired. The street lights on the ward 81, Manimegalai Road and in ward 84, Kempatti Colony also need to be repaired. The street lights on 7th street need to be aligned. The street lights near the ward 22 Muthumariamman Temple need to be repaired.
Furthermore, the letter read that the street lights on GT Street in the ward 73 Race Course Road needs to be aligned. Ward 80 Sellappan Sandu street lights need renovation and on Telugu Road, ward 71 Race Course Road, DRO Compound VCV School need to have new street lights in the areas which is directly opposite of the road. The street lights in the ward 50, Oshmin city need to be repaired.
Amman Kulam Rajiv Gandhi Nagar 4th street ward 70 power poles need to be fixed. Ward 25 Theppakulam Road Central Zone area street lights require alignment. Ward 84 Ukkadam street lights on Ram Kovil Road need to be renovated. Street lights near ward 70 Ramanathapuram NM Hospital need to be refurbished. The street lights in the ward 25 need to be aligned and the street light pole in the ward 67 of Shakti Nagar East Zone are tilted and thus need to be repaired. Street lights on ward 22, Avinashilingam College Road need to be repaired.
MLA Vanathi Srinivasan in her letter listed the grievance of the people in the southern constituency of Coimbatore and requested the Corporation Commissioner to implement a solution for the problems at the earliest.
