Coimbatore: A young man was found hanging from a tamarind tree while forest officers were on patrol in the forest near Coimbatore.
His decomposed body was found by the forest officials in the Thondamuthur Poondi forest while forest officers patrolled the forest area at the foothills of Vellingiri under the Boluvampatti Forest Reserve.
The officials informed Alandurai Inspector Muthupandi who rushed to the spot and seized the body. The decomposed corpse has been sent to Coimbatore Government Hospital for autopsy. An Aadhar card, driving license and voter ID card was found near the body. The deceased has been identified as Vijayabaskar from Tirupur. Alandurai police are investigating.
