V. Anbazhagn always stood for the truth and never feared oppression.
Coimbatore: The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M. K. Stalin expressed his condolences for the death of. V. Anbazhagan, senior journalist and treasurer of the Chennai Press Club.
The Chief Minister stated, “I am deeply saddened to hear the shocking news that V. Anbazhagan, senior journalist and treasurer of the Chennai Press Club, haspassed away due to illness. I extend my deepest condolences to his family.”
Further, speaking of the former senior journalist’s unabashed valour, the CM said, “It is well known that Anbazhagan, who worked with media organizations including Nakkeeran and Tamil Murasu, was the face of dissent. He was instrumental in exposing the mistakes of the government in power and he fearlessly presented them before the people. He faced oppression without fear.”
The CM added “His work of taking the side of truth and daring to bring news to the masses will live forever in the media world and speak of his fame. I extend my condolences to his family, friends, and media comrades who are affected by his passing away.” the CM said.
