Rs. 1.80 lakh of unaccounted money has been confiscated during a raid carried out by the Anti-Corruption Department at the office of the Handloom and Assistant Director of the Government of Tamil Nadu in Saibaba colony area in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: Unaccounted money to the tune of Rs. 1.80 lakhs has been confiscated during a raid carried out by the Anti-Corruption Department at the office of the Handloom and Assistant Director of the Government of Tamil Nadu, in Saibaba colony area in Coimbatore.
Anti-corruption officials are conducting raids on handloom and textile offices across Tamil Nadu.
As part of this, five officials led by ADSP Divya conducted an inspection from 7 pm on Wednesday at the office of the Assistant Director of Handloom and Textiles in Saibaba Colony, Coimbatore. An unaccounted amount of Rs, 1.80 lakh has been confiscated during the raid. Anti-corruption officials are investigating Assistant Director Surya and officials over the unaccounted money that has been confiscated.
