The validity of the old insurance cards shall be checked through the E-Seva Centre.
Coimbatore: The District Insurance Scheme Coordinator informed that in the last five months alone, as many as 16,754 people have benefited from the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme in Coimbatore alone.
The district coordinator stated that “Through the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme, the poor and needy people are being treated free of cost in government and private hospitals. Under this scheme, medical treatments have been provided to 16,754 beneficiaries in Coimbatore district from May to date for heart disease, dermatitis, neurological damage, cancer, aphorism, plastic surgery, kidney damage, among others. at a cost of Rs.48.07 crores.”
The cardholders shall check for the working and status of the insurance card through the e-Seva centre, the district coordinator added.
