The Health Department of Kinathukadavu on behalf of Kothavadi Panchayat sprayed medicines door-to-door in the area, as mosquito breeding increases due to rain
Coimbatore: The Health Department workers in Kinathukadavu took up the process of spraying disinfectants in Kothavadi to prevent the increase in mosquito breeding.
Due to heavy rains in Kinathukadavu, water stagnation is common in many places in the area. Taking a note of this, the health department workers on behalf of the Kothavadi panchayat went door-to-door on Tuesday to get rid of the water logging in empty tanks, tyres, and other aspects which attract mosquito breeding. In a bid to contain mosquito breeding hotspots, they sprayed medicines to avoid further breeding.

Kothavadi Panchayat Council President Rathinasamy and Panchayat Secretary Balakrishnan overlooked the exercise.
