Coimbatore: Santhosh, who is from Angalakurichi near Pollachi, went missing in May 2014. After his father, Arjunan lodged a complaint with the Aliyar police. Investigation revealed that Santhosh, who was reported missing, had joined the Maoist movement and was hiding in Wayanad, Kerala. There are more than 30 cases against Santhosh who joined the Maoist movement in Wayanad, Kerala and the Kerala State Maoist Prevention Unit police are investigating the case against Santosh.
