Liquor shops in a 5 km radius from the vote counting centre will be October 12 in order to avoid any disturbance during the vote counting process.

The rural local body election was conducted in No.10, Muthur Panchayat for the post of 2nd ward member. The votes will be counted on October 12 at Kinathukadavu Panchayat Union Office. Owing to this, TASMAC shops in a 5 km radius of the vote counting centre have been asked to down shutters by the TASMAC administration.
The five-liquor shops on R S Road, Yelur and Sikkalampalayam areas will be closed tomorrow.
