One Examination Centre Inspection Officers each, 46 Deputy Superintendents of Examination Centres and 931 Invigilators appointed
Coimbatore: 10,955 candidates will be appearing for the civil service examinations. The exams will be conducted in 25 centres in Coimbatore district by the Central Public Service Commission. About Coimbatore
District Collector Sameeran, in his press release, stated, 'The preliminary examination for the civil services will be held on Sunday, 10th, conducted by the Central Public Service Commission. The examination will be held at 25 centers in the district. And 10,955 candidates will appear for exams.
The exam centers will have one Examination Centre Inspection Officer at 25 centers each, 46 Deputy Superintendents of Examination Centres and 931 Invigilators have been appointed by the District Administration.
The exam centers are equipped with cell phone jammers. Candidates shall not carry mobile phones or any electronic gadgets like smartwatches. The exams shall be attended with Black ink pens only.'
The candidates have also been instructed to bring any one of the identity cards issued by the Central and State Government such as Aadhaar, driving license, voter ID card, PAN card, passport, etc and a passport-sized photograph on the identity cards along with the photograph of Examiners at the examination center are advised to wear masks, maintain social distancing, directed to wash their hands.
