A school bus crashed on a truck near Aliyar in which a teacher was injured.
Coimbatore: A Coimbatore-based school’s bus crashed into a truck in Aliyar and one was injured in the accident.
The teachers and school staff from Brindhavan Vidhyalaya in the Madhukkarai region went on a trip to Valparai on the school bus. The bus collided with a truck near the Aliyar Puliyankudi region in Pollachi-Valparai road.
The front side of the bus was completely shattered and Muthukumari, a schoolteacher, was trapped under the debris. The police rushed to the spot upon information and rescued the injured teacher and admitted her to the hospital for treatment.
The Aliyar police registered a case on a complaint and are investigating.
