Coimbatore: The Coimbatore District Police nabbed an elderly woman and a youth for serial sale of ganja.
Upon the orders of the Coimbatore District Superintendent of Police, S Selvanagarathinam, intense raids and patrols were conducted in the city to curb the sale of drugs through the initiative 'DAD-Drive Against Drugs.'
M Megala (56) of Thudiyalur and B Jagadish (21) of Karumathampatti area were captured on Friday and police confiscated 2.200 kg of Cannabis from the duo. The accused are currently lodged in judicial custody.
