Hindu Munnani Party Head accuses DMK Govt. of acting against Hindu community

At a General Council Meeting held in Perur College, the District Head condemned the closure of temples on Oct. 6 which was Mahalaya Amavasya day, considered auspicious by the Hindus.


Coimbatore: A general council meeting of the Coimbatore District Hindu Front was held at Perur Shanthalinga Adigalar Tamil College.

The Hindu Front State President, Kateswara Subramaniam presided over the meeting and District President S Dasarathan led the meeting. The State Secretary, J S Kishore Kumar Dhamu Venkatachalam delivered the keynote address. State President Kateswara Subramaniam declared that 400 people were in charge of the Nagar Union.



“The DMK Government's rule is more against the Hindus than it was during the Mughal rule. The Hindu Munnani party strongly condemns the shutdown of temples even on Amavasya day which is considered auspicious. The district administration should take action on those who have encroached the city office of the Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam located at the Corporation site on Ramamoorthy Road, in Selvapuram," added the State President of the Hindu Front.

Divisional Secretary S Satish, Divisional Speaker A Krishnan, District General Secretary M Jaishankar, District Spokesperson S Dhanapal, District Secretaries G Ramesh, S Maheshwaran, D Arusamy and District Deputy Presidents M C Mural, M Leelakrishnan and District In-charge were present.
