Unidentified gang of cyber fraudsters rob Rs.60,000 from a man in Coimbatore

A man from Coimbatore was robbed of Rs.60,000 online from his bank account by an anonymous gang who had blocked his bank account.


Coimbatore: The Cyber Crime Police are looking for an unidentified group of miscreants who robbed money online from a man in Coimbatore.

George Thomas (37) of G N Mills received a message stating an amount of Rs. 60,000 had been debited from his account from an ATM in Bangalore. Shocked at the information, George filed a complaint at the Cyber Crime Division in Coimbatore.

Investigations revealed that Thomas’ account has been blocked by an anonymous gang who are now being hunted down by the Cyber Crime Police.
