Following the program, Abdul Rahman briefed the media and accused the Modi government of being ignorant of people’s sentiments, especially in the farmers' issue. “It is painful that the Centre is pushing the issue aside and the Modi regime does not respect the sentiments of the people and farmers of the country which is unfortunate," he opined. Commenting on the NEET issue, Abdul Rahman demanded that the Centre should understand that students find NEET difficult and hence it needs to be cancelled in the state. "The Centre should understand the sentiments of the people and govern in a way that suits the people," he added.
