Saravanampatti police have registered a case against six persons, namely Masi, Siva, Suryaprakash, Mani, Aravind and Ashok of Chinnavedampatti, under the categories of assault and death threat, and are investigating the complaint lodged by both the parties.
Coimbatore: In Coimbatore, two people were attacked in a clash between two factions due to fighting over a game of cricket. Police are on the lookout for 6 people who were involved in the attack. Arvind, 26, of Chinnavedampatti, Ram temple area; Private company employee. He and some others from the same area had a dispute over a game of cricket last month.
In a revenge to this incident, two days ago when Arvind was talking to his friend Ashok at a bakery in Chinnavedampatti. The four men who were there at the time got into an argument with the gang, Arvind and his friend. The argument turned into a scuffle and they attacked each other. In the attack, both Arvind and Suryaprakash, 25, from the other side were badly injured.
Both of the injured were admitted to hospital.
