Ramesh (45) of Unchampatti, Theni district was found hanging inside the government school premises in Sulur. Police then seized his body and sent it to the hospital by train for autopsy.
Coimbatore: Students and teachers came to the Government Men's Higher Secondary School in Sulur, Coimbatore district, as usual this morning. At that time, a 40-year-old man was hanging from a window sill on the school premises. Students and teachers were shocked to see this. Sulur police were immediately informed. Following this, the police led by Inspector Madhayan rushed to the school. The man's body was recovered and interrogated.
The victim was identified as Ramesh (45) of Unchampatti, Theni district. He had asked for a job with a building contractor in Theni a few days ago for which he was asked to come a week later. Following this, Ramesh has come straight to Sulur without going home and he had climbed around the wall of the Sulur school and committed suicide by hanging himself.
