An unidentified corpse of a man was found on Monday morning, reportedly hit by the Mettupalayam-Chennai Nilgiris Express train near the Mayflower Estates Apartment.
Coimbatore: The corpse of a 30-year old man was found in the wee hours of Monday morning near the Mettupalayam railway police station.
He was reportedly hit by the Mettupalayam-Chennai Nilgiris Express train near the Mayflower Estates Apartment.
The identity of the person and the place he belongs to is not known yet.
Details of the decreased - Pink T-shirt, 3/4th yellow bermudas, a mole on the right side chest, a bruise on the left chest and fair-skinned. The Mettupalayam Railway Assistant Inspector, N Chandi and Chief Constable Jayachitra (Crime No 13/2021) have registered a case and are conducting an investigation to ascertain the identity of the deceased and the reason behind the death.
Those who can identify the corpse are requested to contact the Mettupalayam Railway police station immediately.
