A mega bicycle ride event held on eve of World Tourism Day in Udumalai, Tirupur district

On the eve of World Tourism Day, on the advice of the Tirupur District Collector, Coimbatore and Tirupur District Tourism Officer T. Aravindakumar led the Udumalai Tejas Rotary Club executives and Udumalai Cycle Riders Club executives and SM Nagaraj on the theme of "Tourism and Inclusive Growth". .


Coimbatore: On the eve of World Tourism Day, a mega bicycle ride event was held in Udumalai, in Tirupur district.

On the eve of World Tourism Day, on the advice of the Tirupur District Collector, Coimbatore and Tirupur District Tourism Officer T. Aravindakumar led the Udumalai Tejas Rotary Club executives and Udumalai Cycle Riders Club executives and SM Nagaraj on the theme of "Tourism and Inclusive Growth". .

The journey will start from Udumalai Tejas Mahal at 4 am and reach Kedimedu, Unchavelampatti, Pollachi, NM Sungam, Angalakurichi, Aliyar Dam, then reach Thirumurthy Dam via Devanurputhur, Erichinnampatti and finally reach Thali, Kurinjikodu Dam via Amaravathi. Better completed (travel distance is about 150 km). More than 50 people attended this huge bicycle rally. A special vehicle was also arranged on behalf of SM Travels for their safety precautions. It was equipped with a drinking water facility, a bicycle mechanic and related equipment and first aid kits.



A special certificate of appreciation and shield presentation ceremony was organized at Udumalai Tejas Mahal on behalf of the Department of Tourism for all those who participated in this mega cycle ride. Coimbatore and Tirupur District Tourism Officer Aravinda Kumar and Udumalai Deputy Superintendent of Police Thenmozhivel graced the occasion as special guests.



Coimbatore and Tirupur District Tourism Officer Arvind Kumar, while addressing the function, spoke about the tourist sites in Tirupur district and its specialties. He also spoke about the benefits of cycling daily and the upcoming tourism projects in Tirupur district and Udumalai.

The function was attended by tourism enthusiasts and the general public and members of the Tirupur District Tourism Department and District Tourism Development and Coordination Committee Satyambabu, Jawahar, Shanmugam, Prasanth, Ponraj, Vijayarajesh, Dalmia and Vignesh.
