Coimbatore: A male corpse was found in a decayed state behind the Coimbatore Airport Area on Saturday.
A 65-year old male body was identified in Sri Mookambikai Amman Nagar, Vettaikaran Kovil Street of SIHS colony, in an empty ground behind the Coimbatore Airport. The details of the man is still unknown. The police upon information, rushed to the spot, recovered the corpse, and have sent it to Coimbatore Government College and Hospital. 174 crpc has been registered at Singanallur police station and investigations are on. It is requested to report on any missing persons in Coimbatore at the Singanallur Police station.
In another incident, requests have been raised to take action on accidents happening due to cattle and goats running amidst the busy roads.
The garbage bins placed in the roads for dumping wastes overflow most times. They send a foul smell and take up spaces on roads as well. Adding to that, the goats and cattle reared in the nearby areas in an attempt to get food, block the roads standing near these garbage bins.
Two-wheeler riders are facing huge risks as they drive through the available crooked space.Despite repeated approaches to the corporation authorities, no action has been taken in this regard. Corporation officials are requested to identify and impose fines on the cattle owners and advise them to build and rear them within sheds
