4-year old boy drowns in house water tank near Sulur

The 4-year old boy was playing and drowned in a cement tank behind the house. Doctors at Coimbatore GH declared the boy brought dead.


Coimbatore: Ramesh, a construction worker from Pallapalayam, next to Sulur lives with his wife and two children. The children were playing in front of their home on September 28, when Prakash (4) reportedly went behind the house and did not return for a long time. The family searched all over the place and were shocked to find that the boy had drowned in the cement tank at the back of the house.

The boy was rushed to the Coimbatore Government Hospital but doctors declared him brought dead. The Sulur police are investigating the case.
