Tirupur Corporation's women sanitary workers honoured to mark 75 years of India's Independence at the Tirupur Smart City and Women Empowerment celebration.
Coimbatore: In commemoration of India's 75 years of Independence, the Tirupur Smart City and Women Empowerment Celebration was held where the Corporation's women sanitary workers were honoured. On behalf of 'Ini Oru Vidhi Seivom] Trust, 50 kits comprising stainless steel plates, glasses, sweet boxes, masks and sanitary napkins were distributed to the women sanitary workers. They were lauded for their untiring efforts in keeping the city clean.
Tirupur Corporation Commissioner, Kranti Kumar Pati attended the event. The Founder of Ini Oru Vidhi Seivom Trust handed over the 50 kits worth Rs.10,000 to the sanitary workers.
