The elusive naked thief who seemed to target only two-wheeler and four-wheeler showrooms has been arrested with the help of CCTV footage.
Coimbatore: With the help of the CCTV footage, the Coimbatore Singanallur police finally nabbed the strange elusive naked thief who had been hoodwinking the police for the past several months.
The thief seemed to target only two-wheeler and four-wheeler showrooms and the CCTV footage showed the man jumping in cinematic style from one building to another and roaming around the showroom naked.
It has been reported that the naked thief robbed many showrooms in various places like Ramanathapuram in Coimbatore, Pollachi, Chennai, Erode and Madurai. The thief has been identified as Kochadai Pandian, a resident of Okkur Old Vazhukku Street, Sivagangai District who had been working at a hotel in Coimbatore but was rendered unemployed during the Covid-19 lockdown.
