Articles of senior journalists and the history of Coimbatore city are documented in the Silver Jubilee Book.
Coimbatore: The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M K Stalin released the Silver Jubilee Book of Coimbatore Press Club on Tuesday, at the Secretariat in Chennai.
The Coimbatore Press Club, located at Addis Street in Coimbatore was founded in 1996 by the then senior journalists and now comprises of over 100 journalists who serve as members of the Club. The Silver Jubilee function of the Coimbatore Press Club was held recently in Coimbatore in which a Silver Jubilee Book cover was unveiled and senior journalists honoured.
The book has been compiled to reflect the history of Coimbatore. This also includes a photo compilation of journalists and articles by prominent writers from the West Zone. The Tamil Nadu Forest Minister, K Ramachandran released the cover of the Silver Jubilee Book in Coimbatore last Saturday and felicitated senior journalists with a citation.
