Coimbatore: In a tragic freak accident, a one-and-a-half-year old toddler, Sruthi, fell off a tractor stationed in front of her house and fell to the ground injuring her head. She succumbed to her injuries in spite of being rushed to hospital.
Sathish Kumar (28) lives in Senjeri area of Sultanpet near Coimbatore. His daughter, Sruthi who was playing outside the house with two other kids reportedly climbed the tractor and accidentally fell down injuring her head. The family rushed the toddler to a nearby hospital but the doctor declared her as brought dead.
The Sultanpet police have registered a case and are investigating the matter. The incident caused deep grief among the family memebers and people in the locality.
