A seven-member gang arrested in connection with the case confessed that they were instructed by TMMK Head, John Pandian to attack the businessman.

The Saravanampatti police arrested seven men after Deepak Arora, a businessman lodged a complaint about an assault on him. Deepak Arora owns a two-wheeler accessory spare parts shop in Saravanampatti. He was threatened and attacked by the seven men who tried to usurp his property. Deepak Arora immediately lodged a complaint with the Saravanampatti police who arrested the 7-member gang. Upon investigation, the men confessed that they were directed by John Pandian, the Founder of TMMK.
The accused stated that John Pandian had acquired the land 10 days ago and they were sent to appropriate the property from Deepak Arora.The TMMK District Head, Jayaraj, was one of the seven men arrested. Based on the confession of the men, the Saravanampatti police booked John Pandian and cases under five sections were booked against him, including "threatening to kill."
