A man steals a two-wheeler parked in front of a shop. The shop owner lodged a complaint at the Thudiyalur police station with the CCTV footage. Police are searching for the person involved in the theft as the thief's face was clearly recorded on the CCTV footage.
Coimbatore: A staff of Indian Hot Chips on the road to Thudiyalur-Kanuvai in Coimbatore district locked his shop at 10.45 pm on September 25, parked his two-wheeler in front of the shop without a side lock and went to take a shower behind the shop.
When he returned, he was shocked to find his two-wheeler missing. He checked the footage from the CCTV camera mounted in front of the shop.
The footage showed a man approaching the two-wheeler, looking around and then stealing the two-wheeler, pretending that it had been parked on the road and had stopped while trying to restart it due to lack of petrol.
The shop owner then lodged a complaint at the Thudiyalur police station along with the evidence of the CCTV footage. Police are now on the lookout for the thief since his face was clearly recorded on the CCTV footage.
