Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer Raja Gopal Sunkara inspected the East Zone and enquired on the treatment provided at the Urban Primary Health Center.
The Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer Raja Gopal Sunkara visited various places in the East Zone of the Coimbatore Corporation yesterday (28.09.2021) and inspected them. He visited rainwater drainage canals near the private School in Trichy Road, Coimbatore Corporation East Zone, Ward No.67, and Co-operative colony Ward 64. He told the officials that the blockages in the rainwater drainage canal should be cleared by the workers and the work should be done so that the water can flow smoothly without stagnation.
Later, he visited and inspected the site for the construction of an additional building at the Uppilipalayam Urban Primary Health Center. Then he visited and inspected the rainwater drainage canal areas of Kamala Mill Road, Singanallur. He then inspected whether the public toilet there was hygienic. The inspection was carried out at Neelikonampalayam Urban Primary Health Center under Ward No.58. and he inquired about the pre-natal and post-natal treatment for mothers, the vaccines given to mothers, and the subsidy given to pregnant mothers in the Dr Muthulakshmi Reddy maternity scheme.

During the inspection, East Zone Assistant Commissioner Senthilkumar Rathinam, Urban Development Officer Dr. Satish Kumar, Assistant Chief Engineer Sundaraj, Zonal Health Officer Murugan and Corporation officials were present.
