Led by the DMK, various parties and activists volunteered for the protest.
Pollachi: The DMK cadres led protests on Monday, in Pollachi at the Telephone Exchange headquarters, condemning the Agri Laws, fuel price hike and various other laws of the Centre. Protestors blocked buses and indulged in road roko which forced the police to have them arrested.
The protest was led by the DMK State Farmers Wing Vice President Tamilmani, while cadres from the Congress, the Communist Party of India and Viduthalai Puligal joined the protest raising slogans against the Centre.

They suddenly resorted to a road blockade at the Central Bus Stand, triggering an uproar. They raised slogans demanding for withdrawal of agricultural laws and to curb the hike in fuel prices.

Since the protesters blocked buses which caused disruption of services, the police arrested more than 300 agitators.
