Coimbatore: Indian Texpreneurs Federation (ITF) has conducted a survey to understand the growth aspirations of Tamil Nadu’s textile sector, post covid. With the concluded results, ITF states that various platforms shall be created to guide and engage Nextgen companies to step into equity markets.
Prabhu Damodaran, Convener, ITF shared the report of the survey. Three notable outcomes of the survey are that 75 percent of the companies are ready to double the current site of business in three to five years, that the next generation is stepping up to take business to the next level according to the changing trends, and that 16 percent of companies are evincing interest to explore IPO option to list their shares in equity markets.
The report further stated that, 'Indian capital markets are growing at a rapid pace and the textile sector is also getting a lot of interest and attention from investors with valuations rallying upwards. We, from ITF are also forming a committee of experts to guide and handhold these companies to step into equity markets.'
