Protest near Coimbatore railway station and Town hall clock tower demanding repeal of three agriculture laws in Coimbatore

30 percent stores and over 1000 people protested seeking withdrawal of agricultural laws, NEET exams and to lower fuel prices.


Coimbatore: Today there is a huge protest going on across India across the country condemning the Citizenship Amendment Bill, the three anti-agriculture laws, the exemption of Tamil Nadu from the NEET test, and the anti-people laws of the central government, including the sale of public sector companies to the private sector.



As part of that, a massive siege took place today near the railway station and town hall clock tower in Coimbatore.



The trade unions, as well as the agricultural unions, joined the protest. In addition, 30 percent of these stores participated in support and more than 1000 people across Coimbatore participated.



The police stopped them when they tried to enter the Railway Station, in protest seeking withdrawal of agricultural laws, NEET exams and lower fuel prices.



In addition, trade unions, farmers' unions and DMK allies took part in it.



More than 500 civilians were arrested.
