Coimbatore: Minister of School Education, Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi inaugurated the new building constructed in the Kalappti area of Coimbatore on behalf of the Rotary club.
Speaking to the press he stated, 'No educational institution shall force the students to attend schools and colleges in person. They can make use of the 8000 videos produced by the Kalvi TV of the TN government. The staff can get information on the reason for their absence for more than three days, but cannot ask them to come in person. No decision has been made on reopening schools for students below grade 8, as we are waiting for the Chief Minister’s decision'

Continuous checking is being made to ensure that students don’t get caught midway as far as their education is considered
Further, he said, 'A continuous request is being made with the center to ban NEET in Tamil Nadu and the Committee under A.K.Rajan has also expressed their acceptance to ban NEET.'
He expressed his congratulations to Rajasekaran for finishing on a national level rank in the UPSC exams
