A woman Airforce officer raised a complaint with the Airforce officials at the Indian Airforce Training Centre in Race Course Coimbatore. Delay to take action on the officer, the victim registered a complaint at the All Women Police Station in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: A case has been registered on Lieutenant Amirthesh of Indian Airforce under sexual abuse of fellow training officer.
A woman Airforce officer raised a complaint with the Airforce officials at the Indian Airforce Training Centre in Race Course Coimbatore. Delay to take action on the officer, the victim registered a complaint at the All Women Police Station in Coimbatore. Lieutenant Amirthesh was arrested and present at the Judge’s quarters last night.
Lieutenant Amirthesh’s advocate produced an affidavit stating no action shall be taken on the airforce officer. The lieutenant has been kept on remand until the Police department presents the returned affidavit.
The police then lodged Lt. Amritesh in Udumalpet branch prison. The police further said that Lt Amitesh has been booked under 376 N and the nature of the case will be as per the court order tomorrow.
