Narayana Sharma said, "My hometown is Namakkal district, my father Venkateswara Sharma is an agent in a private insurance company in Coimbatore. Mother Sujatha is also an insurance agent. I am their only son and I live with my family in Ajanta nagar, Kanuvai, Coimbatore. I studied BTech ECE at a private college in Coimbatore. I completed my college studies in 2017. While studying in college, I trained to write the IAS exam from 2014 and passed the first level examination in 2018. I passed the Main exam the next year and went to the interview. He said he has now succeeded in the 3rd attempt."
He said it was a success for the effort and training he had done for seven consecutive years.
