Coimbatore: Treasurer of the Tamil Nadu BJP Mr. SR Sekar has lodged a complaint with the police seeking action against the Kalaignar news television which had deliberately published false news to tarnish the name of the Prime Minister of India Modi.
The Revenue Investigation Department has received information that drugs were smuggled from Afghanistan on a cargo ship that recently arrived at the port of Munra, owned by businessman Adani in Gujarat.
In a raid, 3,000 kilograms of heroin worth about Rs 21,000 crore smuggled in two containers from Iran was seized. The couple from Andhra Pradesh was arrested in Chennai. In this case, the Tamil Nadu-based Kalaignar News TV reported that the drug trafficking incident was taking place with the help of PM Modi.
