Following relaxations in Coimbatore district, tourists are allowed in Coimbatore Forest Reserve, Boluvampatti Wildlife Sanctuary, Coimbatore Kutralam on Saturdays and Sundays as per schedule
Coimbatore: Special relaxations have now been granted in Coimbatore district following the announcement of the lifting of restrictions imposed due to coronavirus infection on Saturday and Sunday.
Mega vaccination camps were held in Coimbatore district on the 12th and 19th. Of them, 2.5 lakh vaccines were given to the general public. So far 24.5 lakh (80 per cent) of the 18-year-olds in Coimbatore district have been vaccinated. Today and tomorrow tourists are still allowed in Coimbatore Forest Reserve, Boluvampatti Wildlife Sanctuary, Coimbatore Kutralam as per the following schedule.
Also, a weekend holiday will be observed on Monday to carry out maintenance work. On weekends (Saturday and Sunday) tourists will be allowed as per government regulations as follows.
09.00 - 10.00 = 250 people
10.30 - 11.00 = 250 people
12.00 - 12.30 = 250 people
01.30 - 02.00 = 250 people
Total = 1000
