Sivashakthi bought a ticket for Kinathukadavu and asked the bus to stop at the Kinathukadavu bus stand. But the driver of the private bus did not stop the bus at Kinathukadavu. When asked about this the bus conductor said that they will drop him in Kinathukadavu on their way back from the trip.
Coimbatore: Sivashakthi (age 42), who was working as a driver in a private company near Pollachi, boarded a private bus in Pollachi last night and took a ticket to Kinathukadavu.
But when the bus came near Kinathukadavu, it is said that the bus went over the flyover without going on the service road
Sivashakthi who has bought a ticket for Kinathukadavu and asked the bus to stop at the Kinathukadavu bus stand. But the driver of the private bus does not stop the bus at Kinathukadavu. When asked about this the bus conductor said that they will drop him back on their way back to Coimbatore at the Kinathukadavu bus stand and spoke in a disrespectful manner.
Following this, Sivashakthi conveyed this to the public in the Kinathukadavu area. Later, the people of the area staged a protest at the old bus stand in Kinathukadavu, by blocking the private bus which was returning to Coimbatore. Police who later arrived there took the bus to the police station.
There the public got into an argument with the police. The public dispersed after the police promised to take action on the incident and to take action to regularize the bus movement from now on. This caused a stir in the Kinathukadavu area.
