Surulivel, a businessman from Coimbatore, has been elected as 'TANSTIA' Vice-President of the Tamil Nadu MSME Business Leaders Association.
Coimbatore: The annual general body meeting of The Tamil Nadu Micro and Small Industries Association 'TANSTIA' was held in Coimbatore on Friday.

Surulivel, a businessman from Coimbatore has been elected as the Vice-President of the Association. He is already the Chairman of COSIEMA, a Coimbatore CIDCO business organization and currently the President of the Railway Suppliers Association (RASA).
Surulivel has been elected as the Vice President of 'TANSTIA', the Association of Micro and Small Industries and the leading Association of the Tamil Nadu MSME industry organizations. Earlier, Mariappan, an industrialist from Salem, was elected Chairman, Nithiyanandam from Chennai was elected General Secretary and Ashok, Treasurer, Cuddalore. Along with them, other executives have also been selected to bear responsibity until 2023. The newly-elected executives were greeted by 'TACT' Chairman James, 'COSIEMA' Chairman Nallathambi, Secretary Natarajan, Treasurer Loganathan, Tamil Nadu Grill Manufacturers Association President, Sakul and other executives from various industry organizations.
The Vice-President of the Association, Surulivel said, "MSMEs are the backbone of the country's industrial development. Such an important sector is facing various crises after the spread of the Corona infection. The industry is struggling to cope with this challenging situation. 'TANSTIA' has elected me as the Vice-President of the Micro and Small Industries Association, the leading association of Tamil Nadu MSME industry organizations. We will work together to bring the issues facing the MSME industry across Tamil Nadu to the attention of the Central and State Governments and to obtain the necessary assistance."
