One DMK candidate and a total of 5 candidates of AIADMK, 2 candidates from BJP and 3 independent candidates filed nominations for the Madampatti Panchayat Ward By-Election
Coimbatore: In Madampatti panchayat, the ward councilor filed his nomination for the by-election, which ended yesterday.
The by-election for the 3rd ward councillor will be held on the 9th in Madampatti panchayat under Thondamuthur union. The first nomination started on the 15th. On the 20th, Sivaprakash filed his nomination on behalf of the DMK alliance.
On the last day for filing nominations, a total of 5 candidates filed nominations yesterday on behalf of the AIADMK, both Karthik Rajah and Manoharan, on behalf of the BJP, Sarvesh Prasanth and 3 independents. Nominations closed yesterday evening, at 5:00 p.m. Currently, a total of 6 candidates have filed nominations to contest the by-election for the 3rd Ward Councillor. Their nominations are due to be considered today.
