Self defense techniques were taught by the Kinathukadavu Police department to the school students.
Coimbatore: The Kinathukadavu police department hosted an awareness programme today at the Government school.
During the awareness drive, the students were elaborated on the crime against women, children, and tactics to handle any such incident.
Kinathukadavu sub-inspector Ganesamurthy and police officer Karthiga spoke to the students in the program. The students were advised to stay vigilant while they use social media and should be aware of the good and bad touches.
They also advised that girls should not hesitate to come out for help if they found any troubling behavior by anyone against them.
