Citizens Voice Coimbatore and SimpliCity team’s efforts brings in copier machines for the differently-abled who visit the Collectorate in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: In response to Simplicity's news story on Tuesday highlighting the discomfort caused to the differently-abled visiting the Collectorate for document work due to lack of proper xerox shops in the premises, Citizens Voice Coimbatore has come forward to provide copier machines at the premises.
Though hundreds of differently-abled people visit the District Collector’s office on a daily basis to receive their welfare and benefits offered by the TN Government, a dearth of copier machines in the premises has been a major cause of major discomfort.
C M Jayaraman, the Head of CVC and Environment Association stated that he had come across the news published by SimpliCity regarding lack of xerox shops at the Collectorate, and hence decided immediately that his organization would provide the Konika Copier machine to be placed at the Office for the Differently-abled in the premises.
“A support staff shall be present to help people who visit for making copies, and the service person's costs and service costs shall be provided by our organization. We have planned to hand over the copier machines to the Coimbatore District Collector, G S Sameeran on Thursday. We express appreciation and thanks to the SimpliCity team for highlighting this issue."
